I brought my very sick dog in on a Saturday morning after I had been given the run around by another vet for the last two wks. After wasting almost all of my care credit funds at the other vet I was on a limited budget by the time I got to Dr. Shaffer. I explained the situation and she explained my dogs condition and we discussed a treatment plan that fit within my budget but also get my dog the help she needed. I loved how she was very kind and understanding and used her knowledge and experience to come up with a treatment plan that worked for my situation instead of raking me over the coals with a bunch of diagnostics. She even told me to leave a message on the office answering machine after hours if there was an emergency and she would return my call. The entire staff was compassionate and I wish I had gone to this clinic originally instead of wasting my time and money elsewhere.

Dr Shaffer has been my vet for 6 yrs..she has always given me superb service and gone over the top with caring for my many animals. She is honest and open in explaining your options and choices. She clearly cares deeply for the animals and is not just trying to line her pocket with tests and procedures that are unnecessary. I have used over 21 vets in the area and she is and always will be my favorite when I am blessed enough to get into her very busy schedule!! Thank you for all your care and education you have shared! I love you!

Just wanted thank Shaffer Veterinarian for saving our dogs life. She ate rat poison and their fast actions saved our dogs life. I also can't believe how low the bill was for everything they did. I expected to pay 4 times the amount that was changed. Thank you again for everything you did for our dog and family.
