As a minister and new parent, the Training Depot has been such a great experience. The staff know us by name and know our daughter just as well as we do. When our daughters face lights up and smile when she see the staff everyday it give us great comfort! Highly recommend!!

"We require a two week notice of withdrawal in order to either use the deposit for the child's last week or to get the deposit back. We did get a withdrawal form but unfortunately it was not a two weeks notice.

Your child may do very well at this school as long as they are not African American. I hoped so much that this would work out and tried for two school years. Unfortunately if you choose to disagree with what's said and won't kiss tail then your child will most likely be kicked out. It's so very sad that things like this are still going on in the 21st century. Especially a school that claims to be Christian. Lord help us all!!

I have a mixed review. When there is a new teacher in the classroom the parents are not notified. You learn of a new teacher when you pick up or drop off your child. One day my daughter ran to me saying mommy, and the new teacher asked to see my ID. I'm aware that this is protocol, however who are you? The new teacher(s) fail to introduce themselves. Another thing is their lack of phone etiquette. They answer the phone like, "This is Angela". I thought that maybe that person needed training, however the director answers the phone the same way.

They follow the Abeka curriculum, however over time my child would get bored with all the coloring. They will also give them weekly bible versus to recite and receive a blue ticket to get a prize out the treasure chest. They will also hand out red tickets at the end of the week for good behavior. From my observations of the different class levels they go over a lesson and then give them multiple worksheets to color or work on. You do pay a supply fee but I've also had to replace crayons and markers for my child after visiting and seeing he had very few in his box and all broken crayons. If they attend in the summer you will also pay an additional activity fee. The daycare food is made in the same kitchen as the school side and they have a decent balanced menu for them. If you want your child to participate in PC Kids or Soccer Shots they offer it as well for an additional cost.

In addition I have to agree with the other reviews... Over the years we have stayed due to the director Ms Renae however the classroom teachers and staff rotated quite a bit. Ms Lisa was always a friendly and would greet you as you pass by, the others not so much. Don't expect any pleasantries or smiles even when making a weekly payment if its with Ms Courtney the bookkeeper who helps out in the office. They close at 6pm so if you work on the other side of DFW but live in Crowley/Burleson be sure to adjust your schedule.

Yes, there are very few African American children attending and working there. When a staff member is leaving, or will no longer be in your child's class you won't get notice unless they are asking for a donation or well wishes for the teacher leaving. When there was a new teacher for the class a week to two weeks later they would sometimes send a letter home giving information about the new teacher. However the additional staff member in the classroom will change every months.

Thanks,

Let me know if you have any questions.

After attending for 3 years we did not receive our deposit back. We filled out the withdrawal slip when they were passed out in the pre-k classroom for those who would not be coming back after graduation for the summer. We were told the following in an email
